Since updating to Firefox 23.1 (whatever the latest is) Firefox just wont function correctly. The add-on manager doesn't load correctly and states that my system requirements aren't met for firefox, yet it certainly does and has worked previously before.

I have uninstalled, deleted remanets and reinstalled firefox numerous times to the same effect. I have also done the same with Java, believing this was causing the problem.

At the moment I am just buggered? No idea why firefox wont work correctly?

Extra information - this is what happens when I try to obtain plug-ins/add-ons

Can you try reinstalling 23.0 to see whether that works? This would help in determining whether it's something specific to the .1 release or whether it's a coincidence.

Generally speaking, you shouldn't lose any personal data in this process, but it never hurts to make a backup of your profile folder(s) before dropping down a version.

Thanks for the reply jscher2000,

Sorry I'm slow to re-reply back!

Yes I had tried reinstalling Firefox 23.0 a number of time to no avail - though I have figured out the issue. It was my internet security (firewall) (somehow) preventing/blocking Java scripts ran on the page!!!

I still haven't rectified the issue though but I am able to transfer the firewall settings/rules from another computer which doesn't have the issue into the one I'm having the issue with when i get time to :)
