I make political survey calls .. I have to logon to their website and then their system patches calls to me . It works fine for awhile and then I experience a total freeze on my viewer screen and get an annoying little beep. Once that happens, I cannot talk to a client or hear them.. I usually log off and try again.Sometimes that works, but only for a short while before the same issue starts again. Most people are using Microsoft whereas I use a Mac w/ mozilla / firefox browser. They are not experiencing the problem I am.Now tonight, I used my new chromebook which worked fine for 2 hours and then it malfunctioned with the same problems. Frustrating since I'm on the clock with expected production. I use a headset with a usb plug. I have tried using external speaker and mic and still have the same glitch.. I have already set adobe flash to always accept and remember the settings for the mic to function ... clueless and annoyed.. any thoughts ?

Hello,

Both your Firefox browser and your Flash player seem to be out of date. If the system uses a plugin other than Flash player, such as Quicktime or Silverlight, you should make sure those are up to date as well.

To update Firefox, see: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version?esab=a&s=how+to+update+firefox+mac+os+x&r=7&as=s#os=mac&browser=fx23

To update Flash player, go here: http://get2.adobe.com/flashplayer/
