Firefox sync will not sync. I am logged in but no dice.
I have sync installed properly and I am logged in. I have my iPhone paired but sync does not happen. The iPhone goes to the site, but no data is downloaded. I started anew account and it seems that Firefox is not syncing to the firefox server. What do i do?

Joel,
Mozilla retired Firefox Home back in 2012.

I installed the app and it paired correctly but only tabs sync. I have set Firefox sync on my iMac to sync the Bookmarks, History and Tabs. I can't figure out what is actually syncing with the server. I don't know if seeing that info is possible.
There is an email address for Bookmarks On The Go support on this page.

I have already sent an email. Is there a way to see if my info "Bookmarks" have been uploaded to the Firefox sync server?
Sorry, Mozilla Services Sync doesn't have an interface to view data types or data storage per data type.
iOS devices aren't officially supported any longer, so you're probably going to have to wait for a response from the developer of that App unless a knowledgeable iOS device B o t G user comes along to help you.
I also see now that Firefox sync throws an unknown error 9 out of 10 times. So maybe my info never reaches the server. All my devices are paired properly according to the sync program after entering the three sets of pairing codes.
I just checked and paired again only tabs sync all other requested info does not. I think it is the sync app as it shows "0KB" for the amount of Bookmarks info uploaded on the Quota tab. It shows 51.9KB for history and "1.9KB" for tabs. Now as far as the Bookmarks to go on my iPhone only tabs gets uploaded but no History of Bookmarks. This seems like two problems. 1. Firefox uploads not working. 2. Bookmarks to go not retrieving all info off server.
i've had the same problem. contacted the bookmarks to go developer. He suggested to reset the Firefox Sync account, creating a new one. Now it works just fine on iPhone4 iOS7.0.3, thanks again!
I also use Mercury browser as it claims to support Firefox Sync. It does work in its version 6 without any problem on my iPad I iOS5.1.1 - version 7 shows the same problems as described below for iphone4/iOS7.0.3.
It is impossible to get Mercury working fully on iPhone4 / iOS7.0.3 I ended up with Mercury 7.4.2. It crashes after first sync and syncs nothing as it is obviously not able to read contents from bookmarks folders not created by itself. But it syncs new folders and bookmarks created in Mercury, you can also put bookmarks into these folders on another device and sync to Mercury.
It seems to me that Firefox Sync might be working in iOS but there's no motivation for developers to write a proper app for straight Firefoy Sync writing/reading without the use of third party servers. There are apps using third party servers as bypass (i.e. Mercury version 8) or apps which are read only (i.e. Bookmarks on the go, 360 browser).

There is another project by Simon Grätzer called Foxbrowser, a very nice simple browser based on Firefox Home. It does not save bookmarks too, but at least the developer states a comment on this on his website:
„Sync support limitations
Due to limitations in the Mozilla Weave sync provider, there is no support for saving bookmarks. Tabs and history are not synced upstream to your other devices.“
http://graetzer.github.io/Foxbrowser/
I hope these limitations will be overcome soon, i am looking forward to a fully functional iOS sync!
