Hello

Firefox sending requests to a lot of third party IP addresses. How to know which of these addresses need to update?

Is it possible to disable requests to the Akamai servers?

P.S. I want to restrict network activity by firewall to small count trusted networks.

It may be looking for updates to different things besides Firefox software updates.

A number of things are listed in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Connections_established_on_startup_-_Firefox

Is Firefox causing update popups to appear on the browser?
If so, these are fake and you should run a full scan for malware or other infections.
