getting a repeat download message window asking me to download a new version when Foxfires says i am good with latest download?

while in yahoo where I enter bookmarks to listen to KYW news radio a saved bookmark on foxfire, I keep getting a repeat download message box asking me to download to the newer version, I have done this already, and I went to check my programs and thee is only one foxfire icon, when I check in foxfire help file to check to see if I am current in my new version download it says I am ok. but soon after surfing the net the box appears again asking me to download to the newer version. I am in a catch 22 world.

more options

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

In case you use a bookmark you can try to navigate the this page via its main home entry in case the current bookmark is not longer valid.
