How do I disable private browsing and the ability to delete history? "Parental control" software is not working very well for me.

While there may be some legitimate uses for "private browsing" (or "incognito" or "inprivate"), it is NOT helpful for parents who want to monitor what kids are doing online.

I have wasted time, effort, and money on "parental control" software that creates more problems than it solves. It would really be MUCH easier if private browsing and the ability to delete history could simply be turned off (or perhaps only "turned on" with a password). This is so frustrating!

Does anyone have a solution for this problem? Perhaps an add-on that will create an additional "history" that can't be tampered with?

Turning off private browsing is not reliable, children can simply start Firefox in safe mode to work around any add-ons, or use another browser. I'd suggest reading reviews on other parental control software and when you find a highly rated one, contact their support for help setting it up.
