Flash no longer functions on Firefox for my macs. I re-loaded flash by doing it from Safari. Used Safari to ask this quest since firefox uses flash for tho
I have tried everything. uninstall reinstall. I couldn't test for flash because the function wouldn't work. I uninstalled Firefox twice and uninstalled flash twice. I cleared history, etc. I called my tech support for my multiple listing service, since I can't even log on without flash. He checked everything, and told me he couldn't figure out why it is not working. the plugin for shockwave flash is there. I know flash is on my machine because when I tried to install it after installing it this morning, it said it was already installed with the latest version. Later on I uninstalled and reinstalled twice. Flash works on Safari and Chrome. Only Firefox has this problem. I am very frustrated. I had to use Safari to even use your "ask a question" since Firefox uses flash to ask a question!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!

AFAIK, SUMO doesn't use Flash for anything.

Can you try to start Firefox in Safe Mode to see if Firefox works properly with no error? You can start Firefox in Safe Mode below:
- Windows/Mac: Go to Help > Restart with add-ons disabled
- Linux: Run firefox -safe-mode in the Terminal/Konsole
If Firefox opens up fine with no problems, it's probably one of your extensions that's causing the issue. You can re-enable your add-ons one by one until you find the one that causes the issue upon being re-enabled.
Make sure Flash is up to date. Adobe released a patch to the latest version of Flash that made Flash crash in older model Macs so be sure to download it below if you haven't:
Try to see if Flash is actually enabled by checking to see if the website below displays your Flash Player version, OS, and browser. If it doesn't it shows a blank box. What do you see?
