Can no longer reposition address/search bar after upgrade to 29.0.1

I guess I just got automatically "upgraded" to 29.0.1. I used to be able to drag the address/search bar onto the menu bar -- where it was happily residing before the "upgrade." Now it seems to be permanently fixed to whatever bar displays my folders of bookmarks. I would be tempted to call this the "bookmarks toolbar" but that option is not currently checked in the context menu and checking it causes a new, empty toolbar to be displayed. Neither does the address/search bar appear to be an item in the menu of cusomizable elements.

The Classic Theme Restorer will give you this capability. This article has a link to download it and explains a little about it - How to make the new Firefox look like the old Firefox.

Let me know how it goes,
Michael

Many thanks, Michael. There seems to be a rash of "upgraded" web sites and web services lately that are breaking existing functionality. I, for one, get tired of constantly deciphering new interfaces just to restore previous settings and functions.
