I have customized Linux mint and set Firefox to open and load set my html file and when it opens it loads the file but it only displays text with white background. The original background disappeared. But when I manually open it works fine .

Hi, I recently updated my browser and am really disappointed that a previous solution to remove this frankly useless button was made obsolete. The correct way to have handled this on the road from 106 to now is to include an option in the right-click menu to remove said button. This option - while you can read it in the menu - is simply unclickable. This useless button that just hogs space like the toolbars of old is unable to be removed at all, as fiddling aroudnd with a userChrome.css file also didn't remove it. I would like either a concise way to remove that button that actually works or the ability to use my other mouse button to do something about it.

I want to be able to view inline PDFs in the browser, and download PDFs sent as attachments, without opening them in Firefox. I've searched the forum, tried different combinations of download settings and toggling `browser.download.open_pdf_attachments_inline` but no dice, either Firefox downloads every file (inline or attached), or it opens the local file in the browser.

I respect that the PDF viewer in Firefox is great, and I want to keep using it when I choose. Right now, I have a download progress that pops up, then the browser becomes unresponsive and switches to the new tab, which is disrupting.

Seems simple but how can I have the following behaviour? - Inline PDF -> view in browser - Attachment -> download without opening in browser

How come when you add some features in firefox updates, they are not removable for me?!? I am talking about the "extensions" tab and the "list all tabs". Some people might want them for their use but I dont. I should have the option to remove them at my leisure. I dont like this at all that I cant make that decision. Please fix. Thank you.

Hi, I cannot upload files to any website. For example if I hit add attachment to an email which is open on Mozilla nothing happens. It's the same if I try to upload a resume or a photo for example. I can drag and drop files to upload but some websites don't have that option. I have disabled the pop up blocker and nothing changed. It was the same when I was using chrome and I transferred the data and settings over. Could someone please advise?

Opening Firefox tells me that a Secure Connection has failed. The error code is PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR. You have been unable to locate the account I have been using for many years so I have just opened a new account. Can you please arrange a reset so that I can once again use Firefox as my preferred browser.

I have 2 rows of Shortcuts selected & I can see the "Shortcut Icon or Favicon", however one of them is still showing an old one for a website & I know that the site actually have a new Favicon displayed. Why am I still seeing the old one? Is there a way to refresh my page so I see the new one? Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi - Is there an updated bookmarks tutorial? just uploaded a new firefox version that seems to no longer have the recent bookmarks tab?

I'm older (and not computer savvy) and will admit that i find IE bookmarks convenient, easy to use with folders, one or two clicks, etc........ but firefox bookmarks? seems designed to be more difficult and security notwithstanding has forced me to use other browsers. Or am I just making it harder?

I would like to have different default search engines for the URL bar and the search bar. For example have a query typed in the URL bar use DuckDuckGo by default. But a query in the search bar use Google by default. I am aware that it's possible to use shortcut strings, use alt+arrows to cycle through the options, or select a different search engine from the icons. I'd like to be able to set them differently without any of that.

I am trying to re-enable sofascore notifications but in permission panel just seems cookies not notification permissions. I tried to forgot site and delete cookies but it didn't work. How can i solve this?

my fit to page is NOT a matter of zoom. No matter what size it is some of the page is off the screen. And when I try to type an e-mail there is no space showing what I am typing. The e-mail space will not expand. All this happened when I chose to make Firefox my default. before that there was no problem

I reinstalled windows 10 and this is my second laptop that microsoft seems to have locked the sound use on any other browser than microsoft edge, sound works perfectly on microsoft edge but will not work on any other browser, has anybody else had this issue, i have contacted Mozilla before but nobody answers. thankyou

Everytime I restart my PC and open firefox the window has reverted to some default configuration. The new tab button is gone, the forward and back buttons are on the right hand side (usually they are on the left), and the bookmarks window is gone. I can then "refresh firefox" to have it revert to the correct setup.

Is there a way to stop this from happening. I restart my PC often, it would be nice for firefox to not do this

The font for the search results has changed to one that is hard to read. I'd like to change it back, changing the font in settings back to default doesn't seem to change it. The other parts of the search results not circled are fine and unaffected.
