I want to know how much of what was on my desktop I could possibly find and how to find it?

Please help. I had Carbonite but I just found out my account has expired. I didn't even know it was due.

What are the possibilities of anything at all being available in Firefox?

Do you know whether it's still possible to read the hard drive on your desktop computer? If the drive is still readable, even if Windows will not boot, you should be able to recover the data.

This isn't the best forum for helping with that kind of operation. You might try a more general one such as: http://windowssecrets.com/forums/

But for future reference, your Firefox data is stored in your profile folder, which by default is a hidden folder. To make sure you can find it, see this article: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/show-hidden-files

And then these articles will help you find the old folder and recover data. Please feel free to follow up with more questions on the recommended steps:
