Address bar search with single word does not work

After the recent update, the address bar is not working when searching with a single word. 

browser.urlbar.autocomplete.enabled is set to true.

Firefox (for some unknown and probably stupid reason) takes 1 word searches, and tries to find them as a website before searching them. This is what causes delays or fails. Until it's released, you can use Firefox Beta (V33) as this fixes the search problem and automatically uses the search engine.
