When I open Thunderbird the Lightning calendar does not show up. There is nothing in the menus that allow opening the calendar. There was a rather lengthy list of warning messages on the error console but nothing that seemed specific to the calendar.

Thanks for responding. Last night I downloaded Lightning again and installed and it now shows up so the Troubleshooting information probably wouldn't show anything. I did look at it before I re-installed and it did show Lightning as enabled. But when I opened Thunderbird the Events and Tasks menu item did not show up and the CTRL-SHIFT-C would not bring up the calendar.

Thanks. I think I have marked it as solved. I wanted to wait a couple of days to make sure it did not reoccur but it seems to be holding.
