Thunderbird encrypted the mail inbox and I cannot read any email

When I open the inbox, all emails are encrypted (with symbols and numbers) and I cannot read any email. How I can recover all the emails or solve the problem?

Thunderbird does not encrypt anything. What you are seeing is more than likely file corruption. Right click the problem folder and select Properties. Then Repair Folder.

Be prepared to lose messages if the corruption is too bad.
