Recently my Read emails still show up us UNREAD. How do I fix it so they show up as reaad (not bold print)?
I click on an email to read it. I do not wish to delete it so I go to the next email. However, the email I just read still shows up in bold black letters like it was not read and still shows up as unread in my inbox taking up space on the server. This started happening 2 months ago. The subject, sender, date, etc. is still in bold black letters. Before when I read an email the it would turn gray scale (not bold) and would take it off the server. Please help, this is driving me crazy. I think I have read all my emails and when I go to my inbox they show up as unread. Thank you.

There was no solution indicated. Only my question. I do not understand how that would solve my problem. I do need a solution.
And we need information, if we are to even guess at a solution. So please supply the information requested.
I do not know what other information I can give other than the one I wrote. But, here it is again.... I click on my email to read it, then I go to the next email. The first one I clicked on and read still shows in BOLD print (not read). I would like to know what to do to make the print gray out showing that it has been read. Unless I delete the emails, they all show up in BOLD print (like they were never read) so my email folder looks all BOLD print and I am not sure which one I have read or not read.

I can do that request for my TB client. I was getting duplicates and triplicates when I started using Hotmail as my main email server. It was POP so I changed to IMAP hoping it would solve that minor problem. Now I have a bigger problem like the poster "wahlers" stated. In addition, I get some emails mixed up with other emails. Like the body isn't the same as the subject title indicated. Here is the troubleshooting info;
