BETA Mobile Firefox for Andriod Locking up data connection
I had installed the beta firefox on my brand new Galaxy S5/VZW. After about 3 hours of idle time, the phone was sending so much data through my wifi connection that it effectively blocked most other communications within the network. I proceeded deleting apps one at a time after the problem re-appeared and it cleared upon deletion of Firefox BETA. Anyone else have this problem? The version installed was whatever was available on March 18, 2015 and I had deleted it March 20, 2015. I really like to run the BETA programs, but could not do so with this problem. The issue has not at all returned since removal of Firefox BETA.
This problem when it would happen would be resolved by a reboot of my phone for about 3 hours and then it would return whether or not Firefox was loaded at all. I primarily used Firefox to browse the Facebook mobile site because I cannot stand their apps. Force stopping Firefox or closing various other programs/services never resolved the issue.

Only uninstalling resolved the issue connecting to a data plan connection it sounds like.
However I also noticed that you were on ver 28, beta is current on version 37, please update from the Google Play Store.
I will try it again soon. What had happened was that Firefox was using data as fast as my network could provide it, and for no apparent reason. I will re-evaluate. Not sure what version was actually installed, but what runs on my PC (used here on the forum) is different than the Android device.
