Curretnly, I am using IMAP. However, I have large list of old emails I need to keep for my records that I need to remove from the server. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I may download and save emails from a certain period of time to free up much needed space on the server? I want to continue using IMAP for my recent emails because of its ability to synchronize with multiple devices.

You can move messages from the server to your Local Folders account. It's recommended to copy the messages. Once successfully copied, you can delete them on the server.
