It is in Thunderbird. One exception is Gmail... It's archive folder is "all mail"

I archived all my saved 2014 emails. I need to find one of them to solve a legal matter. There is an "Archive" button on the left of my Thunderbird screen. There is a "2014" button as a subfolder of this. When I click 2014, absolutely nothing happens.
