Just for a "heads-up" guys. Recently installed Thunderbird on mine and friend's laptops with no issues. Been trying to get it working also on my desktop for the last few days and it crashes repeatedly on import. Tried all sorts of tricks like putting the pst file on a USB stick and uninstalling/reinstalling Thunderbirds and Outlook. Finally found earlier problem reports down to specific Thunderbird versions. The laptops have v.37 but the desktop has v.38. An earlier fix was to install v.24 and then upgrade. Just tried this and it worked a treat. v.24 imported all my outlook stuff and then simply upgraded to v.38. Incidentally, all 3 machines are running Windows 7 and Outlook Express. Best Regards, Phil

Followup question - do you mean the import worked on version 37 beta?

Sorry Wayne, I'm not sure. I know I did accept an update on version 37 sometime after doing the imports. Regards, Phil

If you are not on the beta channel then what you are thinking of is 31.7.0
