PC, Win7

It is easy to delete the main thunderbird window by accident, sometimes leaving a write window. How to get it back? If you have a write window up, the taskbar icon only shows the write, Yes, you can right click or use the start menu, but that is yet another faff about to remember. How can I get a Thunderbird button on the Composition tool bar?

If you close Thunderbird then you need to open it. You could put a shortcut icon on the Desktop.

I have a thunderbird icon on my 'Quick Launch' toolbar, which means it is easy to select to reopen as it is beside my opened or minimised 'Write' window on the task bar. Do you have 'Quick Launch' toolbar enabled? right click on bottom Task Bar and select : Toolbars > Quick Launch
