using the options menu I set my home page and then go about using the site, but...every few times I use it yahoo deletes my home page and resets itself in its place. I have set my home page a dozen times, and either when I restart in the morning or after being off line and return, it deletes it and sets yahoo search as my new home page. I feel forced to see that damned page every time, and I am considering a new browser because of it.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

You can check if you have spigot software installed.
