Can I globally set page options instead of having to repeat the same settings page after page after page?

I pretty much set the same page options (Tools - Page Info - Permissions) for most of the websites I routinely visit. How can I set them once and have them apply automatically to all of these pages?

hi, that probably depends on the exact configuration you'd like to do. you can set some permissions globally, when you enter about:permissions into the firefox address bar...

Note that you can not set all permissions on the about:permissions page. Only a few permissions appear there and settings like the plugin permissions are only present in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions".

You can inspect and manage permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab via these steps:

  • click the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) on the location/address bar
  • click "More Information" to open "Tools > Page Info" with the Security tab selected

Go to the Permissions tab (Tools > Page Info > Permissions) to inspect and manage the permissions .
