I use iTunes and my media hotkeys on my keyboard work just fine except when Firefox is the active window for some reason. Even works in other browsers. Any ideas or maybe addons that will help?

What hot keys are you talking about?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues. You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.

Not sure exactly what your looking for on these pages, but here is the media section.

The commands that the keyboard sends need to match the commands that Firefox recognizes to make it work.

How do you modify them then?

Such a special keyboard usually comes with a special driver where you can inspect and modify these special keys. You can check that in the Windows Control Panel.
