Firefox crashes at start up even in Firefox Safe Mode
Hey,
When I attempt to run the latest Firefox version I get an error message that a breakpoint was reached. The error code appears to be different each time (sometimes the same but not always the same code). I reinstalled Firefox, I have attempted to start in Safe Mode by using the Shift key and clicking on the Firefox icon. I have ran a registry repairing utility at one time and it might have fixed it but now there seems to be no repair or troubleshooting that is able to fix what is causing the problem. I looked at the crash reports and there is not one for the last week that I have been having the issue. I am not sure what is causing the problem and I did run Windows 8.1 in Safe mode and ran Firefox a couple days ago to see if there was an add-on causing the problem but this did not fully solve the issue because with in a few days Firefox started to have the same behavior of crashing at start up and giving the breakpoint error messages. What can be done to help fix the problem?

Did you get your Firefox from Mozilla.org ? Download Firefox For All languages And Systems v42 {web link}
Some problems occurs when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;
- Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
- Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites. Is the problem still there?
