Firefox is not syncing. Wheel keeps turning.
I had problems with Shockwave so I decided to reinstall Firefox from scratch. But now Shockwave isn't working properly AND I can't get sync to work. It starts downloading my addons but freezes at the first one. The sync wheel keeps turning but never stops. I also can't manually add new add-ons.
And of course, I keep getting the error message that Shockwave flash plug in is stuck. I tried using the Shockwave uninstaller but that doesn't do any good. Is there any way to do this all from scratch and maybe try to restore my settings from another computer whose browser works?
Thanks.

I just reinstalled Firefox for the third or fourth time and this time it synced properly. But now Flash is not working at all. The browser is constantly crashing. It's worse than before the restores.
I had a problem with sync a few months ago that i could only fix by deleting my firefox account and then recreating a brand new one.
I lost all my sync data on the old firefox account (except the bookmarks that i manually exported) - but i was able to make a brand new firefox account using the same email.
I also used a brand new firefox installation (made sure all old files/settings were erased) to go with the brand new sync account.
I know it is a very impractical solution, but reinstalling firefox so that it is completely new and then making a new sync account might be the fastest fix.
