I manage two email accounts from Thunderbird. Yesterday, all email from one account disappeared. How do I get it back?

I manage two Google accounts through Thunderbird. Yesterday, all except that day's email was gone from the inbox of one of these accounts. The other is fine - it doesn't have this problem.

I checked through Google directly and all of my email is there, it's just not showing up in Thunderbird.

I checked Mozilla support and found directions I thought might work. I tried going to Help/Troubleshooting Information/Show Folder/ImapMail, but when I click on any of the folders in ImapMail, they all seem to belong to the email account that I'm *not* having trouble with. I can't find anything specific to the account I am having trouble with. So I'm stuck. What am I doing wrong? What do I do next?

Thanks!
