Chosen solution

You need to setup your Google Calendar as a network calendar in Lightning.

Follow these instructions. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/using-lightning-google-calendar

Note, the article is a little bit outdated. Just skip over the steps for retrieving your private XML URL, and pasting the URL to your calendar.

With the latest version of the Provider add-on these steps are not needed anymore. Lightning just prompts you for your Google user ID and password.

Wrt the Windows 10 calendar you should ask in a Microsoft forum.
