Is Firefox 44.0 32-bit or 64-bit?

more options

I just did an upgrade to Firefox 44.0 on my Windows 10 64-bit system. In trying to get Java to work, I was asked whether my browser (ie Firefox) is 32-bit or 64-bit. I can't find out which it is - the forum queries and their answers seem to suggest that there are both 32-bit and 64-bit releases for some operating systems.

Chosen solution

You have the 32-bit version installed. You need the 32-bit version of Java.

The Win 64-bit version of Firefox 'whitelists' only the Flash and Silverlight Plugins. No others Plugins are allowed - IOW, no Java Plugin for Win 64.
