change password
How do I change my password once in a while for security without setting up a master password that needs to be entered before each session? I am the only one on this computer and on my droid.
Chosen solution
Your email password is administered with your email provider. You have to work with them. Most providers have a link to reset passwords on their email help page. The master password in Thunderbird protects access to any saved passwords and nothing else.

I have changed my password with my provider - now how do I change it in Thunderbird? I get mail just fine, now, but when sending, each 'send' causes Thunderbird to request my password - and it used to be automatic.
This is a great solution if you are using a MAC system but what about us poor MS Windows users? The path is not there.
It has instructions for MAC and Windows. The only difference is Preferences for MAC and Options for Windows.
