I wish to complain about your, obvious, recent partnership with Yahoo. Is there an email address I can write to and get some respone on this please?

"DNS Solutions" - ironically named, as all it gives me is problems. Every so often this function cuts into my browsing and either "cannot read the page" or says "the page no longer exists" Or any other number of excuses for interrupting me.

If I use any other Internet Browser, this does not happen.

I have been a fond user of Mozilla ever since it began, and am reluctant to change my choice of Browser. However, if i cannot delete EVERYTHING that has ANYTHING to do with Yahoo from my searches and browsing, I will have no other choice.

Can you please advise? I look forward to hearing a response

Many thanks

You may have a Spigot Searchme infection if the search engine changes to Yahoo.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

Two threads back in 2014 (months before the en-US Firefox had Yahoo as default and other locales had different defaults also) had this "DNS Solutions" problem but the OP's never did say what Extension(s) was doing this.
