set my inbox as in outlook express, last received at the top
My inbox in Thunderbird drives me crazy. I was used to Outlook Express. With last message received at the top of the list and first at the bottom.
How can I get Thunder bird to do the same ?
Chosen solution
Column headers: eg: Starred, Attachment, Read, From , Subject, Date, etc.
Clicking on a column headers will sort by that column header. Clicking on the same column header again will reverse the sort. So if you are looking to sort by 'Date', then click on the 'Date' column header.
To ensure new incoming mail is always at the top so it is easy to locate. You can also set this via 'Menu Bar': 'View' > 'Sort by' > select: 'Date' and 'Descending' and 'Unthreaded'
or via 'Mail Toolbar' 'Menu icon' > 'View' > 'Sort by' > 'Date', 'Descending' and 'Unthreaded'
You can add or remove column headers by clicking on the far right 'Select columns to display' icon - see image below as help guide.
