Why is my browser closing when I click the minimise button?

When I click the minmise button the browser actually closes and I have to re-open it and restore my browsing session.This just began happening yesterday. FYI i have Linux Mint Rosa 17.3 installed. Thank you.

It looks like you are using a Linux Mint version of Firefox and this sounds like an issue with the display environment or theme.
