Fox will not stay in position on second monitor, etc

I've been using a second (larger) monitor for years. Up until the recent update, when my computer went to sleep, (and I woke up the computer) when I came back, Firefox was always in the position on the second screen where I left it. Now, it keeps going to my laptop screen and I have to re-position it each time. Why? Is this a Firefox issue? Or, an issue that came with the Mac OS update that was also around the same time? Just trying to figure out why.

ALSO, with the new FF update, each time I open FF, it starts out as a big black screen, and takes a little time to refresh. This is new.

ONE MORE ITEM: It now seems to take a little longer to find the right size for the screen, tabs, etc. It starts out with text and tabs too large, then finally gets it right. This is another new issue. Before this all started, the screen always started at the right resolution, etc.

What can I do to get these issues fixed?
