Firefox seems to apply my personal windows settings for colour, that's not what I want or ask for. What to do?

hi, Hopefully I can explain my question clearly. I use a WIndows 10 computer with personal settings for high contrast (colours) and Firefox brower for webmail. The problem is that receivers of my e-mails receive the messages in light colours. The colours of the text that they see is exactly the same as the textcolour on my computer. I'm wondering why my personal settings are used for outgoing messages. Changing the coloursettings in firefox seems not to work. Hope that anyone knows how to send mails with dark text?

What are the color settings?

Make sure you allow pages to choose their own colors.

  • Options/Preferences -> Content : Fonts & Colors -> Colors : "Override the colors specified by the page with my selections above"

Try "Never" if the default "Only with High Contrast themes" isn't working.
