Rave About Firefox Nightly
Far from having a problem, I have a huge "Thank You" to Mozilla for the brand new (for me) Firefox Nightly for Android. I've been using Aurora for several months on my very low end Amazon Fire 7 (2015) tablets with satisfaction, but Nightly is SO much faster to respond I'm blown away. WOW, what an improvement in performance!
And this on top of Mozilla's FINALLY upgrading Lastpass, my essential PW manager, from the old V3 to to the latest V4. I am one deliriously Happy Camper! The Lastpass add-on worked well under Aurora, but seems to be even better under Nightly.
Raises for all the Developers on the Nightly project!
Not related to Android, but I'm now using Firefox exclusively on my Win10 laptop. Was using Google Chrome a bit, but the latest release(s) have been unstable memory hogs for me. No more. It's relegated to, not just the bench, but expelled from playing.
Chosen solution
Hi jackApplewhite
Very glad to hear that you like Nightly being made available from Google Play. Not only does it enable you to try new features, but using it also helps the developers make Firefox for Android even better. Thank you!
Lastpass is an add-on that is provided by an developer independent of Mozilla. That said, we do like to work closely with developers and it is great to see that a new versions has been released.
Firefox and Firefox for Android are getting better all the time, with recent improvements being released in the desktop version. Look forward to it getting even better later on in the year.
Thanks again, and keep rocking the open web!
