Mozilla,

I am requesting the "InstallDate" registry key added after installation of Firefox.

"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Mozilla Firefox 52.4.1 ESR (x64 en-US)"

I was expecting a key with the format "YYYYMMDD", however no key exists.

Was this an oversight? Can we Add this?

      1. Example of the key

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Mozilla Firefox 52.4.1 ESR (x64 en-US)] "InstallDate"="20170901"

      1. EO Example of the key

TIA,

Joe

HI t_rex_joe,

Please also find the ESR mailing list on the FAQ page here for more technical support with that version of Firefox.

See also the "Update History" button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" page in case you used Firefox before and have updated.

You can duplicate this from CMD.exe with the following command.

reg query "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Mozilla Firefox 52.4.1 ESR (x64 en-US)"

The Non-ESR Firefox shows the same problem.
