Cannot get the Open Message Pane to revert to the right side of the GUI

The previous view of Thunderbird had the Open Message Pane on the RIGHT side of the GUI. i have gotten quite attached to that view..

I changed to CLASSIC View to see what that was and the Open Message Pane will not revert to the Right Side of the GUI.. how do i get it to revert to the view i want?

View/Layout/Vertical View has the Folder Pane, Threads Pane and Message Pane arranged left to right, on my system. I think that's the only way to get what you want.
