Is there a way to set up a file List in which all of the addressees are sent a message via BCC: without having to mark all of them individually as BCC: in the Send field? A friend just sent his entire client list to over 300 people because he forgot to change CC: to BCC:. Not the first this has happened. I get these types of messages fairly often from people who don't understand the use of bcc: or who forgot, like my friend, to mark each and every one as bcc:

Those are usually folk using a mailing list and adding it without marking the list as BCC, or changing it before the message is sent.

Personally for such tasks I recommend folk use the contacts pane (f9) in the compose window and use the buttons at the bottom of the pane to add the recipients, instead of direct typing in the relevant box. It is the best way to avoid accidental stupidity.
