In the most recent versions of Firefox for iOS, it seems that support for iOS extensions is missing. Is there a plan to reintroduce this feature, or add an alternative extension system?

A big issue with lacking support for extensions is how troublesome it is to use password managers.

Extensions aren’t supposed yet and probably won’t be for a long time.

Apple's terms of service specifically prohibits downloading 3rd party code to run (unless it's Safari). This disallows arbitrary extensions.

So iOS extension support is on the roadmap for Firefox on iOS? But no details of when it will arrive?
