Hi  !

It will take a little work .......

First disable the new design of the new tab page :

Type in the address bar about:config (press Enter) (promise to be careful, if asked) Type in the search bar and look for the preference :

browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.enabled

And set its value to false

Then close and restart Firefox, in order for the change to take effect.

Now you can add tiles and/or rearrange your tiles the way you want them and when you're done, go back to the 'about:config' page and set the value of that preference back to 'true' (and don't forget to close and restart Firefox).

Good luck  !

It is currently not possible with the Activity Stream design to drag a bookmark or history item to a tile.

With Activity Stream enabled in Firefox 58 there is the "Add" button in the window that opens if you click the Edit button that will appear at the far right above the tiles when you hover a tile in the Top Sites area. In Firefox 57 a menu opens if you click this Edit button with the Add item in the drop-down list.

In Firefox 59 you will be able to drag tiles and reorder them.
