It's usually a dark charcoal gray. If you use any add-ons that change colors on some websites, possibly that could explain what happened before. Otherwise... we might never know.

Hi, fyi : it shows here you are running ver 58 Please update to 59.0.2 https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version

Please go to the 3 Bar Menu then Click on Customize then at the very bottom of that page Click on Themes then Black. https://www.howtogeek.com/333110/how-to-customize-firefox-quantum-and-remove-the-white-space-around-the-title-bar/

When you right click and view an image that background was white bat it is now black again, some how.
