Thunderbird Portable Too Heavy.
Hello, I normally use the installed version of Thunderbird. As I have a few email addresses and like the convenience of being able to take Thunderbird with me when I travel, I also have a portable version. The problem is that it is very heavy on my flash-drive (1.6gig).
Is there a way to eliminate the folders, keep the email accounts and retrieve the folders later on the Portable version? That way I still have the accounts on Thunderbird Portable and when I get where I am going I can just repopulate the folders.
Unsubscribe would be perfect, but rather than canceling the folders within Thunderbird it actually unsubscribes from Google Mail and when I get back to my computer based Thunderbird the folders are unsubscribed there as well. Any ideas?

You could ask the people at portable apps. They support the portable version. https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/thunderbird_portable
The problem isn't that it is portable. I need a way to remove the folders from a particular instance of Thunderbird without having gmail unsubscribe me so I can still get them on a different instance of Thunderbird. It needs to be done within Thunderbird.
Thunderbird portable is an app developed by portable apps. It is not supported in this forum. Follow the link provided and ask in their forum.
