tabs automatically redirect (Seeminly at random times) to tabs that were part of a browsing session i saved in session buddy 3 wks ago. Tried disabling session buddy, clearing history, CCleaner, Malware bytes, hosts file. Ublock origin, flashblock, ghostery are installed.

You install an add-on to forward the new tab page to another website like search.yahoo.com (they have really awesome pictures). You can go to that page at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-override/ but if you are running older than Firefox Quantum go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-override/versions and select the one that is compatible with your Firefox version.

The default Firefox new tab page is about:newtab

no, im saying when i open a link in a new tab, the page starts loading then gets redirected to a different site (like i said, from a session that had like 20 tabs about different printers i was picking from).
