I recently changed my Firefox account login details but Firefox doesn't recognize this.
I have been having a problem with synchronizing the tabs from my desktop version of Firefox to my iPhone so I came to this support page today to try and get a solution.
I tried to sign into my account here and Firefox kept giving me an error message saying my details were wrong even though they were not. I decided to reset my password and update the email on my account to the primary one I now use.
After resetting the password and changing / confirming the new email address, I signed out of my account on my computer and attempted to sign back into the account using the new email and password but it says my details are incorrect / there is no account with this email, Even though there is.
So how long do I need to wait for Firefox's I.T. system to process the new login details so I can sign in using the new login?

Hi, I think your problem started when you say you reset as this deletes any date that was stored. Also no idea what else as do not use it. This is the way to change your email address :
Have you tried logging in more than 3x's since making the change as after 3x's wrong the account is locked. ? If so then go straight to the bottom making sure to follow the instructions.
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I wasn't sure whether I had attempted to sign in with my details more than 3 times or not yesterday.
After it wouldn't log me in with my new details I tried signing in with the old email and password and it logged me in successfully.
Today I disconnected the account and tried to sign in using my new email and new password and it says the same thing, It doesn't recognize the new details.
Just FYI when I click on my username up in the top right of this page and navigate to /view profile/ Edit my profile, My email that is listed there is the new one and not the old one.
Hi, there is no need to blockquote everything. When used properly it is a strong tool : https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_blockquote.asp
So it let's you login with your old details/email and will not let you log in with your new details which are present.
See if this works :
So it will need a repeat I would guess, once to change then once to change back.
If still can not get in please ignore this whole support article : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/forum-response-firefox-sync-verification-email-faq Except for the bold Black. Make a Bugzilla account, follow with the other bold. Describe in detail. link back to here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1225994 Set at the bottom of it change to keep for 1 month, not 1 day.
A supervisor will contact you.
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
Sorry for the confusion, but:
For historical reasons, this support site and your Firefox Account are separate username/password systems. Resetting your password or changing your email here on this support site has no effect on your Firefox Account.

I know how to use blockquotes, I just didn't feel like doing it and I didn't think anyone would really care.
I was able to change the login details and login successfully, so this specific problem has now been resolved. However for some reason Firefox still won't sync my bookmarks to the phone despite that in the sync settings the bookmarks are switched on to sync.
You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see if there are recent error logs available. You can upload a recent log if the log is too big to put in a reply. https://pastebin.mozilla.org/
At the bottom of the page change keep for 1 day to keep for a month.

I could copy / paste the long error-sync code and submit it, But what will that do to resolve this problem?
I opened a new topic with further information on this in the appropriate category. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1226224

Well...
We do not work on demand. There are no employees here : As Volunteers we have our own life. Starting a new question was not the best way.
Please do as you were asked and get the logs and put them in the pastebin URL as was asked, Change from saving for a day to save for a week and then post the URL your given into a response so we can look at the logs to see if can figure out the issue. If we can not you will still need the logs for the next step.

Unfortunately the bookmark syncing issue still persists, Here is the pastebin link:

Get back to me when you can, Thanks.
Hi, now that you have completed what was asked of you please ignore this support document except my instructions : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/forum-response-firefox-sync-verification-email-faq
Go down to make a Bugzilla Account, explain in detail the issue, copy the URL of the Pastebin in so it can be looked at by them.
Then please follow the other highlighted are so that it contacts a supervisor.

Hello again,
I created a Bugzilla account shortly after you advised me to with the intention of submitting a bug report but that pastebin website you advised me to use to send the bug to the Bugzilla team has been inactive for some time and as a result I haven’t been able to bring this error which is still occurring in the Firefox iOS app to the attention of the Mozilla company.
Is there another website you could recommend I use as an alternative to pastebin?
I really would appreciate your help, Thanks.
The main Pastebin site is public, over here:
