When I try to go to a site where I need to log in I'm getting the message "The page is not directing properly"

I have a number of distributor sites I frequent. When hit log in, instead of taking me to their site I'm getting the message "The page is not directing properly" This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies. The problem is I am set to accept cookies. I have tried everything. I'm getting ready to uninstall Firefox and go back to Safari. I have used Firefox for years, but for some reason I have started getting this message on every site where I need to log in.

Site? No one can figure what is going on if they can't see what the site is saying or doing.

Site? I don't understand what you are asking me to do. Here is a screen shot of the message I'm getting when trying to log in to a number of sites I have logged onto for year.
