Hello, my daughter's computer is an XP (yes, she insists) and suddenly a site she has always been able to view is not loading some parts of the page. The site is a movie theater and it is not loading the current movies playing. Here is the site - http://starcinemashavasu.com/movies-2/ - I have spent hours online searching how to fix this but everything I try does not work for this issue. The date/time/etc is all correct, wish it was that easy. But like I said, it's not the whole page that won't load only certain parts of it, the same with other pages on the site showing the little upside down exclamation mark, and some pages on the site fully load. It all loads fine on my computer and I am writing this on my computer.

'This website does not support encryption for the page you are viewing'

Any ideas how to fix this? Odd that it worked fine up until this week.

did you install OR uninstall any security software before this happens?

disable tracking protection:

No, didn't install or uninstall anything. I just temporarily disabled Avast free on there and tried the site again and no change, does not load the movies.

You say I should disable tracking protection?

Just tried disabling tracking protection, no change, movies on site don't load. Just a big giant blue box where the movies would normally be.

Screen shot of the error? What FF version is this? What other addons/extensions is installed?

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).

"Remove the Cookies" from websites that cause problems:

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Manage Data

"Clear the Cache":

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

^: security.insecure_field_warning.contextual.enabled is about a warning that shows if you type in a login form on an insecure web page.

It shouldn't have any effect on loading the page.

So apparently the solution was to download the latest Adobe Flash Player, movies come up now. Thanks everyone for jumping in to help!
