I am on Windows 2000 SP4. I really like Firefox and have used it for years, however every year less and less sites support Firefox 12, and I was wondering, is there any way AT ALL to use a newer version of Firefox on Windows 2000? I tried KernelEx, but I couldn't get it to work.

Firefox 13+ on Windows 2000 http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=2482475

Though you should not not be using this ancient vulnerable OS on the internet now days.

If your CPU and RAM is decent enough then you may be able to dual boot or use a light 32-bit Linux distro. This way you have a secure OS and can use more current Firefox versions.

Thank you. My computer is actually capable of running Windows 10 smoothly (I used it for a bit but I couldn't stand Windows 10 on 2GB RAM and a 13 year old processor). I tried it and it works well.
