Offline Sync
Hey there,
is it possible to Sync Bookmarks without Internet? For example, in a Windows-Based Domain-Network? I have a Domain-Server an medium amount of clients, who needs a browser to access some Browser-Based Systems via IP-Adress. This systems change eventually and I am looking for a way, to make the life for the client more easy.
thx in advance and best regards

The sync built into Firefox uses the Mozilla servers to store the data. Without the web, there would be no sync.
thx u dear sir, for ur quick answer
If you just want to share bookmarks, you can do this locally. But you should have only one person do this.
Open the Bookmarks Manager; Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the toolbar, and select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> B.
Once the window is open, at the top of the page, press the button labeled Import and Backup.

Yes, it is possible to run your own Sync server.
