addons won't work

more options

I'm on Firefox 66 and all of a sudden addons won't work. Themes won't work. I tried resetting but that didn't work. The only addon I could get was an ad blocker only reviewed by Russians. That got eliminated when I tried resetting. I keep getting the error that I need to check my connection. Funny, I can read my emails and go to other websites with no problem. i just downloaded a bank statement so I think my connection is just fine.

Any suggestions? They were working yesterday.

The Add-ons team is working on a fix for this. It looks like a certificate used to sign many popular extensions expired. (The verification process checks that certificate.)

I don't know how soon re-signed versions of those extensions will become available, or whether another workaround will be discovered. We are all hoping to learn more soon.
