Now that I Ant video downloader is blocked by Firefox, I need help finding a replacement. I've tried to download Flash Video Downloader and Video Downloader Professional. I keep getting the message: "Download failed. Please check your connection." But my internet connection is fine. Finally I was able to install Video Downloader Professional, but it cannot seem to grab the video from any webpage I am on. It is very frustrating. Any suggestions?

Chosen solution

There was a Bug-A-Boo with a Certificate Expiration Date dealing with the Add-ons. There's a new FF Version with the main Fix, 66.0.4.

Mozilla Blog Post Update:
A Firefox release has been pushed — version 66.0.4 on Desktop and Android, and version 60.6.2 for ESR. This release repairs the certificate chain to re-enable web extensions, themes, search engines, and language packs that had been disabled (Bug 1549061).
There are remaining issues that we are actively working to resolve, but we wanted to get this fix out before Monday to lessen the impact of disabled add-ons before the start of the week. More information about the remaining issues can be found by clicking on the links to the release notes above.

A more thorough fix: 66.0.5 and I suppose in the upcoming 67.

for some reason, I am not getting notifications at my email address whenever I receive an answer to my question. I received 1 notification, but I didn't receive the other. Is there a place under my profile where I can adjust settings so I can be notified when I receive an answer to a question? I looked but didn't see anywhere I could configure that?

I wonder if the Notification for a Message Thread stops when it's stamped as "Chosen Solution"? (Which this Thread is.)

I think I didn't get the notification before I chose this email as the solution... but I was notified about your latest reply, so I assume it working now. Thanks!
