How do I turn off 'Deceptive Site' messages and blocking?

more options

Firefox is my friend and is trying to protect me, but occasionally I want to override the "Red Screen of Disaster" and navigate to a dangerous site. Under Options/Security, I do not have the 'Block dangerous and deceptive content' box checked, but Firefox still will not allow me to "Ignore the risk" and proceed. Instead it insists that I register the site as not risky after all, which I can't do because it IS risky... I just want to go there anyway and mess with them. Thus I'm relegated to using an inferior MS product for this activity. How do I temporarily circumvent this 'nanny state' protection?

Hi Electrojim, you're getting the warning for a malware site like the following test page:

http://itisatrap.org/firefox/its-an-attack.html

And when you click the "See Details" button you don't find a link to "ignore the risk" like I do (example attached)?

Not that I recommend it!!

Thanks, jscher. When I go to your 'test' site, sure enough I can click Ignore risk and the suppressed page will open. BUT if I use the link that I got in an email: https://www.office-secure.online/ ...and instead of logging-in, as requested, simply click on any one of the options I've marked with a red arrow in image, I get the Red Kiss of Death immediately but the Ignore risk option just keeps bringing up the banner with two boxes (Get me out of here! and Report false positive... or whatever), and that banner cannot be cleared. Just no way to go there with Firefox, but Edge will blast right through. Certainly not a big deal, but interesting.

Maybe it moves among phishing sites. I don't plan to load that page.
